Cultwatch.com is one of the web’s original counter-cult websites. Each year our readership increases, and with that our work. The Cultwatch ministry is entirely run by volunteers, but the increasing volume of people seeking help means we need more volunteers. If you are able to spend a few hours a week at home answering emails, and like the idea of becoming a cult expert, then read on to see if helping us help others is something you’d like to do.

Cultwatch’s two main aims are to help the people trapped in the cults and to warn people about the cult danger before they are ensnared. Cultwatch is a Christian based organization dedicated to helping people from all walks of life.”

To volunteer for Cultwatch you need to be a Christian, since Cultwatch is a Christian ministry. But you also need to understand that we are contacted by people from many different sorts of belief systems. Our aim is to help all equally in a compassionate manner without pushing what we believe. Often the people who contact us have nowhere else to turn, and if we can help make their life better we don’t want anything to get in the way.

Having said that, we also focus on Christian issues too, and so we get many Christians contacting us. If you volunteer for Cultwatch you’ll get plenty of opportunity to discuss Christian doctrine and practices with other Christians. Also people in the cults and other belief systems often initiate discussions about these subjects and so you’ll get to learn and use your Christian apologetic skills too.

Volunteering at Cultwatch is tremendously fulfilling. It can be done from anywhere in the world and you can choose to work at the times that suit you. It normally only requires a few hours a week.
